Process

01.

Concept & Story Development

I started with a simple idea: a scene that could live inside The Twilight Zone or Black Mirror. I used the Umbrella Method to develop the story structure.

02.

Writing the
Script

Once the story concept was locked in, I wrote the dialogue. Then rewrote it. Then rewrote it again. Every line had to be tight, natural, and purposeful with sharp back-and-forth that kept the pacing strong and the scene engaging.

03.

Visual
Design

Before jumping into the storyboard, I focused on the scene’s look and feel. I designed backgrounds, built out character designs, and made sure the world felt lived-in, but unsettling. Every detail reinforced the overall mood.

04.

Thumbnails & Storyboarding

Next, I sketched thumbnails to map out framing, shot flow, and key moments. Once the pacing and composition felt solid, I drew full storyboard panels, refining expressions, camera angles, and scene clarity.

05.

Audio & Animatic
Editing

I recorded scratch audio to test dialogue flow and pacing. Then came the animatic editing where I adjusted shot flow, refined transitions, and synced audio to make sure every moment landed just right.
